TT at Lewis-Clark State College


Lewis-Clark State College (Lewiston, Idaho) invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor of physics beginning August 2013.  The successful candidate must have received their Ph.D. in physics or a related field by August 2013.  Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence.  Teaching responsibilities will include first year algebra- and calculus-based physics and courses in the successful applicant’s area of specialty. Ability to teach courses in astronomy, GIS or earth science would be advantageous. Additional responsibilities will include direction of undergraduate research, student advising, participation in departmental and college service activities and professional development activities.  The successful applicant will support the College’s STEM education efforts for pre-service teachers.
