Central Connecticut State University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor Physics beginning Fall 2013. The department offers comprehensive programs in physics leading to a B.S in Physics.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in experimental physics with research interests appropriate for student participation (completion of Ph.D. required by the time of employment); and, commitment to serving culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse communities.
Preferred Qualifications: Research interests in nanotechnology, biophysics, photonics, applied physics, renewable energy; and, college teaching experience; and the ability to teach electronics and digital systems.
