The Physics Department at SUNY Potsdam is accepting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning fall of 2013. The Physics department currently offers a BA in physics, participates in 3-2 dual engineering degree, and has a plan to offer BS degree. Primary duties include teaching a physical science course for education majors, other physics courses for majors and non-majors, and establishing a research program involving students. Required: Ph.D. in physics, astronomy or closely related field is required and expertise in experimental physics is preferred.
