The Department of Physics at the University of West Georgia (www.westga.edu/~physics) invites applications to fill a tenure track position at the rank of assistant professor of physics. Teaching responsibilities will include undergraduate courses inphysics and astronomy as well as laboratory courses. The selected individual is also expected to do research, especially with undergraduate students. Applicants should have an earned PhD in an experimental field of physics or astronomy. The appointment will begin August 1, 2013, contingent upon funding.
