TT at Western New Englad University


The Department of Physical & Biological Sciences at Western New England University seeks applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Physics at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning in September 2013, pending budgetary approval. Teaching responsibilities will be 12 credit hours per semester of introductory level physics in both lectures and laboratories for engineering, science, and non-science students. A Ph.D. in Physics is required.  Candidates must submit a cover letter, a current CV, a teaching statement, and a research statement.  Candidates should also have three letters of recommendations be sent directly to the Search Committee. Official transcripts of all course-work in higher education are required. (Unofficial transcripts are acceptable during the initial application.)  While primarily a teaching institution seeking candidates with a strong commitment to teaching, scholarly activity is expected for tenure consideration. The deadline for application is December 28, 2012.
