TT at Shippensburg University


The Physics Department of Shippensburg University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position starting in August 2013.  Responsibilities: Teach physics courses at all levels and involve undergraduates in research.  In addition, faculty members are expected to perform other duties as assigned in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement.

A Ph.D. is required and prior teaching experience is desirable.  The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate teaching effectiveness at all levels of the physics curriculum and give evidence of a strong commitment to understanding diverse populations as part of an on-campus interview.
