Saint Martin’s University, an independent, coeducational
university located in western Washington, invites applications for a
full-time, tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Physics in
the Department of Natural Sciences, beginning August 2013. The area of
specialization is open; however, applicants must be able and willing to
teach introductory courses for science, engineering and general
education students. The successful candidate will be both an active
scholar and an excellent classroom instructor, able to teach a broad
range of courses under a 12-credit teaching load per semester. Strong
commitment to undergraduate teaching and research and a PhD are
required, as is a willingness to support the Catholic, Benedictine,
liberal arts tradition of Saint Martin’s University.
