Applications
are invited for a tenure track assistant professor position which
starts August 2015. A commitment to teaching of undergraduate
non-majors and physics majors is essential. A Ph.D. in Physics or a
closely related field is required. Hillsdale College, is a private,
well-endowed, co-educational, liberal arts school of 1450 students. It
is located on a 200 acre site in a beautiful, small Michigan town. The
physics department is well equipped and has 19,000 sq. ft. of floor
space. Salary is competitive with similar schools. Candidates should
also submit statements on their teaching philosophy, plans for
undergraduate research, and professional goals. Applicants should

addressing their interest and ability to teach in light of its
