The Department of Physics & Astronomy at Bucknell University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position to begin August 2015. We expect to hire at the Assistant Professor level, but outstanding candidates will be considered at Associate Professor or Professor; years of credit toward tenure may be awarded based upon qualifications.The successful candidate will demonstrate a potential for excellence in teaching at all levels of the undergraduate physics curriculum. We are interested in candidates who can maintain an active experimental research program in an undergraduate teaching environment. The Department welcomes applications from couples or partners. By the time of their appointment, candidates are required to have a (1) Ph.D., or (2) Master's and either ABD or relevant professional experience, in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
