TT at Norwich U, VT

The five-member Department of Physics at Norwich University invites applications for Assistant Professor of Physics beginning academic year 2015-16. This is a nine-month, tenure track position. Faculty are expected to teach 9-12 contact hours per week, establish a research program, advise students, and serve on department, college, and university committees. Current faculty members have research interests in experimental condensed matter physics, geophysical fluid dynamics, and experimental high-energy physics.

Requirements: Ph.D. in physics, astronomy or allied field; a strong commitment to the education of undergraduates in the arts, sciences, and engineering; research interests appropriate for the participation of undergraduate students. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
