Applicants qualified with a Masters
degree including 18 hours in Physics and/or Astronomy, or a Ph.D. in Physics,
Astronomy or closely related field are encouraged to apply. We seek an
individual with a commitment to quality undergraduate education and with
knowledge of current effective educational practices. The position will be
primarily focused on introductory level science, physics, and astronomy, and
may include lab coordination and curriculum development as well. Prior
experience with distance learning would be beneficial.
