2-Year Instructorship, Middlebury College VT

MIDDLEBURY, VT -- The Department of Physics seeks applications for a two-year Instructor position, beginning September 2017. We seek an intellectually vigorous individual who will contribute to Middlebury College's mission to "engage students' capacity for rigorous analysis and independent thought within a wide range of disciplines." Candidates should provide evidence of commitment to excellent teaching at all levels. Candidates should hold a Ph. D. in physics or a closely related field. Review of applications will begin January 23, 2017 and end when the position has been filled, provided that a suitable candidate has been found.
