LECTURER (DOCTORAL SCHEDULE)
DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS, QUEENS COLLEGE OF THE CITY UNIVERSITY OF NEW YORK

The Department of Physics at Queens College of the City University of New York (CUNY) invites applications for a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer (Doctoral Schedule) starting in the Fall 2017 semester. A Ph.D. in Physics or a related area is required. The applicant must have at least two years of teaching experience at the college level, including full responsibility for courses at or above introductory physics level.

The duties of this position include teaching undergraduate courses in physics and astronomy, enhancing undergraduate laboratories, serving on departmental and college committees and advising students. A Lecturer's primary obligation is to provide high quality instruction to students. A Certificate of Continuous Employment from CUNY would be earned with reappointment for a sixth year.
