VAP at Bates College

The Bates College Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications from physicists for a position as Visiting Assistant Professor for 2011-12 with likely renewal for 2012-13. The successful candidate must demonstrate interest in teaching in a vigorous undergraduate program, welcome the opportunity for close interaction with students, and be able to guide research by advanced undergraduate physics majors. Experimentalists preferred. Outstanding applicants who are ABD will be considered. Salary is competitive.
