VAP at Whittier College

Whittier College, a small (1500 undergraduates), independent Liberal Arts College located about 20 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, invites applications for a one-year full-time teaching appointment in the Department of Physics and Astronomy starting September 2011. A Ph.D. in Physics is preferred and teaching experience using student-centered interactive pedagogies is a definite plus. Excellence in teaching is our main consideration. The successful candidate will teach introductory courses both for non-science students and for pre-health students.
