The Department of Physical Sciences at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University invites applications for a Non Tenure Track position at the Assistant Professor level in Physics. Applicants with experience in teaching introductory physics and supporting laboratory or project activities are particularly encouraged to apply. We expect to have this position filled for Fall 2011.

Detailed Description:
We are seeking a well qualified individual to support our academic programs. The department has one of the leading undergraduate Engineering Physics programs in the US, as well as BS Space Physics, MS Engineering Physics, and PhD Engineering Physics programs. We also offer support courses in physics, chemistry, astronomy, astrophysics, biology, and environmental science. We have been increasing our laboratory programs and we wish to strengthen our faculty capabilities.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will have an established record of teaching. Applicants should have an MS in Physics at a minimum, a PhD would be preferred.
