The Department of Physics in the Faculty of Science at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, invites applications for an 8-month term appointment in physics at the rank of instructor to begin September 1, 2011. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake laboratory teaching, introductory level physics and astronomy lecturing and general support for the department’s First Year teaching.

The department offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in physics. Applicants should have the minimum of a Masters Degree in physics (a Ph.D. is preferable) or a related discipline. Prior undergraduate teaching or laboratory experience will be an asset.
