VAP at Simpson College

Simpson College, a private liberal arts institution, invites applications for a one year (fall-spring 2011-12) position in physics at the rank of Assistant Professor. A PhD in physics or closely related area is expected (ABD may be considered). The candidate will be expected to teach introductory and advanced physics courses and participate in the life of the program (such as Physics Club). We offer majors in Physics and Physics-Engineering (3-2). Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
