Physics Teaching Fellow at Amherst College


Amherst College welcomes applications for the position of Physics Teaching Fellow. The successful applicant will work with Amherst faculty teaching the laboratory sections of introductory physics courses. The Teaching Fellow will also work on revising and upgrading the laboratory experiments for those courses. This is a twelve-month, full-time position, with benefits, that will begin July 1, 2012, though teaching duties do not begin until September 2012. The position is for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year. A bachelor’s degree in physics or a closely related field is required. Experience serving as a teaching assistant for undergraduate labs is highly desirable.
