FT at Mississippi State

The Department of Physics and Astronomy at Mississippi State University (MSU, http://www.msstate.edu/dept/physics) expects to fill an Instructor position starting August 16, 2014. This position requires a MS degree in physics or a closely related field as well as teaching experience. MSU is the state land-grant university with an enrollment of about 20,000. The Department offers BS, MS, and PhD degrees, and teaches a large number of service courses. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the equivalent of four courses per semester and serve as supervisor for teaching laboratories.
