FT (TT/T?) in Science and Education at Midway College

Midway College seeks an Assistant/Associate Professor of Science and Education to teach courses in seat and online.

Founded in 1847, Midway College serves traditional undergraduate women in the Women's College and both men and women in accelerated undergraduate and graduate programs and online programs. The College is located in the Bluegrass region of Central Kentucky amid rolling hills, horse farms, and the Bourbon Trail and is within driving distance of Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati.

We seek an individual who is committed to teaching and mentoring students and who will work with the Education and Science faculty to develop a STEM program and to expand offerings online.

Duties are teaching methods and science courses in seat and online, at the main campus and at the Lexington site, developing curriculum, advising students, serving on committees, and scholarship.

Required qualifications: doctorate in Science Education, doctorate in Education with a master degree in Science, preferably Biology; or doctorate in Science with teaching certification. Experience teaching at the high school and/or college levels. Administrative experience a plus.
