The Department of Mathematics & Physics at Viterbo University invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor position starting August 15, 2014 in the general area of physics. Qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent in physics, biophysics, chemical physics or related area; ABD would be considered. Teaching responsibilities include introductory and advanced undergraduate courses in physics for science and mathematics majors. Applicants with previous experience or interest in active learning techniques and/or interdisciplinary pedagogy are preferred.
