Conference Proceedings Assistant, AIP Publishing

AIP Publishing, a leading publisher in the STM market seeks an Assistant, Conference Proceedings to provide support for the Manager, Conference Proceedings and the activity of the proceedings program. This includes a thorough understanding of the program objectives, including material submission, copyright requirements, and billing. The Assistant, Conference Proceedings, is also responsible for maintaining up-to-date statistics and contract information for the program.
 QUALIFICATIONS:
 Bachelor’s degree, an emphasis in physical sciences a plus
  • Solid computer skills: thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, e-mail, and Web browser required
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in order to meet established program goals
  • Ability to adapt to changes in work requirements and environment
