Description

The Department of Chemistry and Physics in the College of Engineering and Sciences at Purdue University Northwest invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics (not tenure eligible) position. The position will start August 15, 2016.

Its campuses are located in the northwest Indiana city of Hammond, less than 25 miles southeast of downtown Chicago, and Westville, a scenic campus situated on 268 rolling and wooded acres eight miles south of Lake Michigan. Essential Duties:

Primary responsibilities for the position will involve a full-time teaching assignment of astronomy and physics, lectures and laboratories.
Qualifications

Ph.D. Degree in Physics or related field, which must be completed by July 1, 2016.
