Primary duties include teaching courses in the approved discipline,
recruiting and advising students, and serving on committees. Responsible
for developing and updating curriculum, textbook, equipment selection
and instructional materials. Maintain familiarity with and adhere to
College policies and procedures. Provide instruction and an effective
learning environment to facilitate student acquisition of the specific
learning outcomes identified in the master syllabi of the assigned
courses.
Qualifications
Must meet Southern Association of
Colleges and Schools (SACS) academic, oral and written English
proficiency requirements. Must be willing to teach day, evening and/or
weekend classes.
Required Education
Must possess minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential standards
which normally include a Master's degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline.
