Instructor at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College

DUTIES: Responsibilities will include a range of Physics courses including calculus-based Physics, Algebra and Trigonometry-Based Physics, Technical Physics, Introductory Physics, Health Physics, and Fire Science Physics. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in curriculum development and review, actively support the College and division mission, engage in committee work and service, and fulfill other standard responsibilities of tenure-track faculty members.

SPECIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Physics or Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a minimum of 18 semester hours of graduate level courses in Physics. A minimum of three years of teaching experience is required, preferably in a community college environment. Experience in distance education and with appropriate instructional technology in the classroom environment is desirable. Candidates must have proven success in addressing the needs of students from diverse cultures and ethnic backgrounds. Experience in curriculum development is preferred. This is a teaching-oriented position rather than a research-oriented position. More information here.
