TT at Emory and Henry College

Emory & Henry College invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Physics to begin August 1, 2012. The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong interest in teaching in a liberal arts environment and participating in the college’s general education curriculum. Experience in constructivist teaching and an interest in mentoring student researchers would be valuable. A willingness to explore ways to enhance the program for those of our students who go on to professional programs, particularly engineering, will be especially valuable. Comfort with all levels of undergraduate physics laboratory apparatus and methodology will be required. Qualified applicants will possess the earned doctorate, though ABDs will be considered.
