Assistant/Associate Professor in Science Education

The Department of Curriculum, Instruction, and Technology at Temple University (Philadelphia) is seeking to fill a tenure track position at the assistant or associate professor level in science education Responsibilities include maintaining an active publication and grant-writing agenda; teaching science education courses to preservice teachers, teaching doctoral level science education classes, and working with graduate students pursuing master's and doctoral degrees with an interest in science education; and providing service to the program, department and college. Qualifications include an earned doctorate in science education or a closely related field, an active program of research, and a demonstrated capacity for seeking external support. We are especially interested in candidates with both a commitment to social justice and urban education and an interest in developing collaborative relationships with colleagues and schools.
