The Department of Physics at St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City invites applications for a full-time one-year faculty position as visiting assistant professor in physics beginning August 2012, pending budgetary approval. The position is a sabbatical replacement and may be renewed for up to three years subject to administrative approval. Candidates must have or expect a Ph.D. in Physics or related subject before the starting date. The successful candidate must show strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.
