12-Month Assistant Director, Science Teaching at Florida State

Florida State University has an opening for the Assistant Director, Office of Science Teaching Activities, College of Arts & Sciences, Florida State University (Job ID 35378). The individual selected for this position will be active in preservice teacher preparation, teacher professional development, and science outreach. As well, it includes the opportunity for participation on science education research teams and grant leadership teams. The person in this position serves as the director of the Arts & Sciences' Masters in Science Teaching program and the lead co-director of the Young Scholars program (high-school summer science and mathematics program).

This is a 12-month, non-tenure track university position (funded through college budget, not dependent on grant funding).
