2 VAPs at U Tulsa OK

The Department of Physics and Engineering Physics at the University of Tulsa (www.physics.utulsa.edu) invites applications for two visiting assistant professor positions for the academic year 2014-2015. A Ph.D. in physics or engineering physics is preferred.  Teaching responsibilities will include introductory physics courses and related laboratories and may include advanced courses depending on departmental needs.  An interest in mentoring undergraduate research projects will be a plus. The University of Tulsa is a privately endowed doctoral granting university of approximately 4,500 students located in a metropolitan population of 960,000.  The department, consisting of eight faculty, offers baccalaureate and master’s degrees in Physics and Engineering Physics and a doctoral degree in Physics.
