VAP at Haverford College PA

Haverford College invites applications for a leave replacement position in physics and astronomy for the academic year of 20013-14. (Appointment for a second year may be possible contingent on need and a performance review in the middle of the first year.)  The successful candidate is expected to be able to teach courses across the undergraduate physics and/or astronomy curriculum.  Laboratory teaching experience is a plus as is the ability to mentor senior research students.  Haverford is a highly selective college with motivated students and a commitment to both quality instruction and significant scholarship. Our location in the western suburbs of Philadelphia allows for convenient interactions with colleagues at other institutions.
