TT at Arkansas Tech

Arkansas Tech University, an undergraduate, state-supported institution of ~10,000 students, seeks applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Physics tenure-track to begin August, 2014.

Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy or related field, have demonstrated quality teaching and have demonstrated quality research.
Teaching duties include 12 credit hours/semester including undergraduate physics and physical science courses and laboratories in addition to other duties as assigned. Understanding of and ability to
implement research-based best practices in physics education is preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop a successful
research program that includes experiences for undergraduate students is preferred.
