FT NTT Instructor at U of Arkansas Little Rock



The University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Department of Physics and Astronomy invites applications for a nine-month non-tenure track Instructor (T99966) position in the department for Fall 2013. The University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Department of Physics and Astronomy is dedicated to high quality education at both undergraduate and graduate levels as well as conducting research activities in a number of areas including Astrophysics and Material Sciences.

The Instructor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in physics and astronomy. Other duties will include curriculum improvement and implementation, developing and continuing departmental partnerships, and participating in service activities in the department, college, university, and community.

Minimum Qualifications: A Graduate degree (MS or MA), in Physics, Astronomy or related field. Experience teaching in Secondary or Higher Education is preferred.
