Job Description:
Visiting Assistant Professor faculty position in Physics and Astronomy. We seek outstanding candidates whose expertise will enhance the goals and mission of our department. The position will involve the teaching needs in the introductory physics and physical science courses. We seek a candidate with a commitment in working effectively with students, faculty and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field by the time of the appointment (8/15/2013)
significant research experience; a commitment to excellence in teaching; and strong communication skills.
