Concordia University Wisconsin seeks applicants for a visiting professor
in Physics for the 2013-2014 academic year. A search for a
full-time faculty member for this position will take place during the
upcoming academic year and the candidate hired into the visiting
position will be able to apply for the permanent position. This position
is in the Department of Natural Sciences in the School of Arts and
Sciences. A doctorate in physics is preferred although highly qualified
applicants possessing significant progress (ABD) toward a doctorate
will be considered. Prior teaching experience is desirable. The primary
teaching responsibility is a two-semester freshman physics course
designed for students majoring in the sciences. The ability to teach an
introductory course in astronomy for science education majors is a
plus.
