Job Description: One-year, full-time, non-tenure track position in the Engineering and physics programs. Preferred candidates will demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and strong knowledge of engineering mechanics (statics, dynamics and mechanics of materials) and introductory physics for engineering students.
Duties of Position: Maintains highest possible standards of classroom instruction. Applies innovative teaching and learning pedagogues; uses teaching and laboratory software programs as part of instruction; demonstrates understanding of unique needs of engineering transfer students.
Education Requirements: Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or Engineering Physics; PhD preferred
Experience Requirements: Post secondary teaching experience is required. Two years of community college teaching experience is preferred. Teaching responsibilities beyond those typical of a teaching assistant are preferred.
