STEM Learning coordinator, Fairmont State U, WV

The College of Science and Technology at Fairmont State University (FSU) is currently recruiting applicants for a STEM Learning Coordinator to begin as soon as possible.  The individual selected for this five-year grant-funded position will report to the Dean for the College of Science and Technology and the Title III Project Director.  Responsibilities include coordinating the development and piloting of STEM activities in the College of Science and Technology, coordinating and assisting in the redesign of STEM curriculum to promote student learning and retention, assisting in the development of curriculum, learning modules and activities that are experiential, collaborative and utilize technology-rich learning techniques, providing faculty development in innovative teaching techniques and assessment, assisting in the data collection and reporting of metrics associated with student learning, retention, and graduation rates in the College of Science and Technology, and assisting in the development of a peer mentoring program in the College of Science and Technology.

Applicants should have an earned doctorate in a discipline associated with science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or education.
