Lecturer at Cal Poly SLO

The Physics Department in the College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking to hire one or more Full-Time Lecturers for academic year 2010-2011, to begin September 2010. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Primary duties and responsibilities are to teach undergraduate physics and possibly astronomy courses. A Ph.D. in physics or astronomy (or a closely related field with a strong physics background) is required. All requirements for the Ph.D. must be completed before September 13, 2010. Preference will be given to candidates with evidence of (or potential for) excellence in teaching. Recent Ph.D.'s are encouraged to apply.
