VAP at Salisbury Univ.

The Department of Physics at Salisbury University is accepting applications for the position of Visiting Assistant Professor (1 year, possibly renewable for 3 years). Primary Job Duties Teaching introductory physics lectures and labs, electronics courses, and possibly other upper-level physics classes.

Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D or ABD in Physics or a closely related field, with strong preference for Ph.D, and a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching. If ABD; would be hired at the rank of Instructor, with the expectation that candidate complete doctoral degree in a timely manner.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability and interest in engaging students in undergraduate research will be considered a plus. Candidates must demonstrate effective teaching strategies that support a diverse student body.
