VAP at University of Portland

The University of Portland invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting position in the department of physics beginning in August 2011. Teaching responsibilities will include lower-division and upper-division lecture and laboratory course offerings in physics. A Ph.D. in physics or astronomy and evidence of excellent teaching are required. The deadline for receipt of applications is March 1, 2011. Applicants should submit (1) a curriculum vitae, (2) a statement of teaching experience, and (3) arrange for three letters of recommendation to be submitted before the application deadline.
