TT at Carson-Newman College

The School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at Carson-Newman College invites applications for a tenure-track position in physics at the Assistant Professor level beginning August of 2011. A Ph.D. in physics or a closely related field is required (ABD candidates will be considered). The successful candidate will be able to teach at all levels of the undergraduate physics curriculum as well as some mathematics courses. The primary qualification for this position is excellence in teaching, but service to the college and scholarly activity are also expected. Carson-Newman College is a leading Christian, liberal arts college affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Convention.
