TT at Arkansas State University

The Department of Chemistry & Physics at Arkansas State University seeks an outstanding candidate to fill a tenure-track position in physics beginning no later than Fall 2012.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in physics, contribute to the teaching mission of the department, demonstrate skills necessary to engage in the interdisciplinary research expertise of the Department and College, develop an independent externally funded research program involving students, and contribute to the service activities of the Department, College, and University. The appointment is anticipated to be at the Assistant Professor level, however candidates with evidence of success in establishing and sustaining an externally funded research program will be considered at the Associate Professor level.
