TT at Concordia College

Concordia College at Moorhead, MN invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Physics beginning August 2012. The successful applicant will be expected to teach physics lecture and laboratory courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum and conduct research involving undergraduates. The successful applicant must demonstrate a well-developed plan for undergraduate research that has the potential to be supported by external funding. Applicants must have an earned doctorate in physics or closely related field by the start of the appointment. Applicants should be in sympathy with the mission of a college of the Lutheran (ELCA) church which entails a commitment to academic freedom and openness to discussions of the relationship between faith and learning.
