TT at University of Wisconsin - Platteville

Applications are invited for an anticipated tenure-track assistant professor position in Physics, with specialization in Physics Education Research preferred. Start date is August 23, 2010. This person will teach and contribute to the development of courses and laboratories in algebra- and calculus-based introductory physics and physical science, plus teach additional upper division courses in engineering physics as determined by the successful applicant's expertise and departmental need. The physics program at University of Wisconsin-Platteville includes an accredited major in engineering physics plus service courses for engineering, science, technology, and liberal arts majors. The university, located in southwest Wisconsin, enrolls about 6800 students, mostly undergraduates, including about 2000 in engineering.
