Overview:
The Engineering-Physics-Systems Department at Providence College seeks applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position for the Spring 2017 semester which commences on January 17, 2017.

Essential Duties:
The successful candidate will teach one or two sections of a late afternoon Natural Science course, such as astronomy or conceptual physics, for non-science students; one or two afternoon General Physics laboratory sessions; or a combination of one Natural Science course and one or two laboratory sessions.  
Education and Experience Required:
A Ph.D. in physics, astronomy or a closely-related field from an accredited institution and experience in effective teaching are essential.
