Qualifications:
Philadelphia University seeks candidates for up a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics for the academic year beginning August 2017.

2-3 years of experience teaching full-time at the University level is preferred. Strong candidates will provide evidence of a trajectory of scholarship in the candidate's area of specialty consistent with a tenure-track position and will demonstrate the ability to apply active student learning pedagogies in the college classroom.

Education Required:
Applicants must have research doctorate or foreign equivalent to a U.S. doctoral degree in Physics or a closely related discipline by employment start date. 2-5 years of experience teaching Physics at the college/university level.

Responsibilities:
The faculty member will teach introductory and advanced Physics courses in the General Education curriculum and within the University's majors.
