The Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Brescia University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Physics to begin Fall 2009. Expectations include outstanding undergraduate teaching, ability to guide and build a curriculum in both physics and pre-engineering, effective interdisciplinary interaction with students and colleagues, and commitment to service.
The successful candidate will teach introductory courses for non-majors and calculus-based physics for science majors, as well as more advanced physics courses when demand merits them. The ability to teach in the Mathematics area is a plus. The successful candidate will also coordinate Brescia's pre-engineering program. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Physics or related area, although outstanding applicants with a Master's Degree will be considered.
