The Peter Sammartino School of Education at Fairleigh Dickinson University is seeking a candidate for assistant professor, tenure track for its, five year accelerated QUEST (BA/MAT) program. Responsibilities include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in pedagogy, assessment, research, and advising QUEST teaching candidates.
Ed.D or Ph.D required. Applicants must have a strong background in education theory, practice, and curriculum development. Experience in elementary and/or secondary education required. Experience in post secondary teaching a plus. Instructional technology skills are essential; background in science/math is preferred. A record of or potential for scholarly research and publications required.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
