TT at Wright State

Applications are invited for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics position, with a joint minority appointment in the Department of Teacher Education, at Wright State University to begin September 2009. The position will specialize in Physics Education, with emphasis in K-12 teacher education, and the successful candidate will be active in development, implementation, and assessment of undergraduate and graduate science education programs. Physics education scholarship, including external funding and publications is expected. Candidates must have a Doctorate in Physics or a closely related field, or a Doctorate in Science Education with a Master¹s degree in Physics or related field, (anticipated by September 1, 2009). Experience in teacher preparation and professional development, assessment and evaluation are desirable.
